Melissa K. Walker
Mrs. Walker’s practice focuses on workers’ compensation defense. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and Management & Society. Mrs. Walker received a Juris Doctor from the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University. She also received a Master of Laws (LLM) with Merit from the University of London, Queen Mary and Westfield College. Mrs. Walker serves as the Career Support Committee Chair of the North Carolina Association of Women Attorneys and is a member of the Board of the North Carolina Association of Women Attorneys. In addition, Mrs. Walker is currently serving as the President of Wake Women Attorneys, the local chapter of the North Carolina Association of Women Attorneys. Mrs. Walker serves on the Membership Committee of the North Carolina Bar Association and as the Moot Court Finals Chair for the Law Day Committee of the Young Lawyers Division of the North Carolina Bar Association. Prior to joining Lewis & Roberts, Mrs. Walker served as a clerk for the North Carolina Supreme Court.
